yes, you understood correctly that I'm 1 person with 2 accounts and would like to activate both for contributing, because either single one of them would limit me in a way. I.e. either I could only contribute in my employer's interest (and nothing more), or
my personally related stuff. The latter with only the single account concept would lock me out from my employer's tasks which would be unfortunate.
But I certainly don't want to give up the current Eclipse account as it is.
If none of the options described above are wanted by Eclipse (even though I see advantages in the spirit of OSS), I would need to accept it and keep the current state.

Hi Roland,
I am not sure if I understood you correctly.
You have 2 different Eclipse accounts: one for work-related tasks and one for personal/private contributions, correct?
Currently, you are a committer in OpenBSW with your work-related account.
You would like to swap your work-related account with your private account, or add your private account as a second committer account to the project, correct?
I will need to clarify the official process with the Eclipse Foundation, as I am not sure if account swapping or directly adding a secondary account without an election is possible.
Generally speaking, within Eclipse projects, committer status is granted to an individual rather than an account or employer, but rights are tied to a specific registered account. Usually, if you want to contribute under a different account, either a new committer
election is required for that second account, or the primary email address/account details on your existing committer profile need to be updated directly via Eclipse Account Management.
I will get back to you as soon as I have an official update.
Best,
Andy

platforms I can't contribute to OpenBSW via my employer since it's not related to my company work. But privately, I can contribute this contents in my spare time. I can assure that in both cases, I'm the same person and have signed the ECA separately.
