Hi Everyone,

thanks for the nomination!

I was a bit surprised as I had in mind, the project will be archived, but I read the issue, that we can expect an initial contribution in a couple of months.

Honestly spoken, I have some doubts with the nomination, as there is no further information about the work, Berk was doing.
There is no issue or PR referenced in the nomination nor a link to his GitHub account.

I would like to highlight the requirements for a committer election in the EF Project Handbook: https://www.eclipse.org/projects/handbook/#elections-committer

Please have a look into the section and please provide us (Automotive PMC) the necessary information via the mailing list.

As of now, I cannot judge the nomination and the work, Berk was doing.

A Committer election for Mehmet Berk TAKIM on project Eclipse ArchE
(automotive.arche) was started by Andreas Looft with this criteria:

Berk is an Initial Committer.

He became part of the CARIAD Team after we created the project request.
Since then he has been working on infrastructure related and leads the CARIAD efforts for the initial Contribution to the eclipse repo

It is my pleasure to nominate Berk as a committer on Eclipse ArchE.
