What are you trying to do? Do you have data loaded into your oracle
10g spatial database already? Did you fill in the metadata (I think
that is what the table is called that defines the CRS and bounds for
the dataset?) correctly?

Yes; I have done so in the past; I do not have a copy of oracle on
hand to test against right now however.

How about we back up; what kind of errors are you getting?
Are you able to connect to oracle?
Do your tables show up in the uDig catalog?
When and add an oracle table to a map is a layer created?
If they layer is not drawing what is the error message shown in the
status bar when you select the layer?
Finally if you look though your log file do you see any stack trace
that indicates a problem with oracle?
