But JTS can do this just programmatically? My question was if I can do
this job out of the running uDig applicaton as user?
Silvia Franceschi gave me the hint that this plugin

geometry which is derived by buffering the feature's Geometry. Then you
can use that to do a query using that feature. An Intersects query is
