[udig-users] GDAL and UDig compatibility

Dear all,
I have a geotiff file created starting from a tif/tifw file (I'm attaching
it). I have created it with gdal_translate:

gdal_translate -a_srs epsg:23033 input.tif output.tif 

As you can see I have assigned a CRS (epsg:23033).

When I add it to UDig, it assign to my geotiff wrong CRS:4269. Is it normal?

I love gdal and I need to know if there is some incompatibility between GDAL
and UDig.
