I've tried it with RC13 but the tool to specify vectors is broken there, but if you setup vectors yourself = make a layer that contains LineStrings where each feature consists just form two points, then the rest of plugin should work. 

On other hand in svn repo there is new development version in directory
http://svn.geotools.org/udig/community/jan/net.refractions.udig.transformtool/ . This one brings raster support as well as few new functions but is developed against uDig-trunk that hasn't been released yet . 

During next week I can try to make the changes to get the old plugin (1.1)
working with RC13 and RC14 properly. New plugin with new feature will probably wait for uDig trunk release. Do you agree?

I think he has the tool.  But maybe he is having an problem using it?

I think the tool for uDig 1.1 only works for transforming Vector  layers.

 The one on uDig trunk can transform rasters.  Sorry I took so  long to
realize that.
I will try to get a trunk version that you can try out. But it will 
probably be a couple weeks.

I don't understand exactly what you mean by that. Jesse defines the
procedure and you say you have the same problem? Did I miss some mail?
Yesterday night I wasn't able to have a look at Jan's rc13
compatibility, since I was porting JGrass to rc14 compatibility.

The transform tool is on the update site.  Here are some vague
instructions on how to do it:

  1. Help>Find and Install menu item
  2. Select "Search for new Features to install"
  3. Press next
  4. Press the "New Remote Site" Button
  5. Enter:
        1. Name - Community
        2. URL - http://udig.refractions.net/update-community
  6. Press ok
  7. Press Finish
  8. expand the Community item in the tree
  9. Select Jan Jezek
 10. Press Next
 11. Follow the instructions from here

I gave a look at the svn community space of Jan and there is also a
1.1 version of the plugin.
I could compile it for you if needed, but I would prefer to get a
feedback from Jan first, I guess he has some updated version.
Anyone knows if the mail I have of Jan is the proper one?
