[udig-devel] [jira] (UDIG-1970) problems in new rasterstyler

Issue Type: Bug Bug
Affects Versions: UDIG 1.4.0, UDIG 1.4.x
Assignee: Emily Gouge
Attachments: 01_custom.png, 02_custom.png, quantile_infitiny.png
Components: visualization using map layer and style
Created: 17/Mar/13 10:52 AM
Description:

There are a couple of issues in the more advanced parts of the raster style editor:

1) quantile produces infinity. I get that testing a large raster.
It obviously breaks the creation of the style then.
See attached:quantile_infitiny.png

2) The custom palettes are interpreted wrong. There are some that have fixed values and others that do not. For example the logarithmic palette is handled properly, since it needs fixed breaks. The rainbow and elevation for example do not have fixed breaks. But when I apply them, they always create a custom range I have no idea were it is taken from.
For example, I create a style as in 01_custom.png, which is properly done with the colorbrewer and once I select rainbow, the range is changed as in 02_custom.png, which is wrong.
