I tired it out (ie http://udig.refractions.net/files/downloads/udig-1.2.0.macosx.cocoa.x86_64.dmg) and and have a couple of troubles.

- splash screen shows 2009

- about shows 1.2-SNAPSHOT

- could not display svg example file

Note if you are wanting to build the release you need to check out the actual tag used for release (http://svn.refractions.net/udig/udig/tags/1.2.0/). I should check that the new splash screens made it on to trunk apparently.

  However last night I got a chance to sit down and build Mac installer packages for uDig 1.2 in both 32 and 64 bit flavors.

  When I uploaded these to the website however, the downloads page doubles up entries as the original zip files are there as well.

  I was wondering if someone with python knowledge would be able to tweak to the downloads page script so as zip files appear as "Zip Package" and the DMG's appear as "x86_64 Install Package"? What do you think?

  Congrats to everyone who had a hand in the 1.2 release. Its really impressive!
