There format that uDig requests is an option that can be set in the
preferences. Why don't you try playing with the WMS preferences.

Oh I remember I think it had to do with a specific format (say
JPEG?) and JAI; can you try fiddling with the wms image format
request order in preferences and see what happens?
Also if you have the wms service url so we can try testing that
would also be fun....

First sorry for my week english!
My problem is the following: I wanted to set up a developing
envirement, so I downloaded the sources from the homepage.
Everything was going well except one thing. After that I run the
uDig project I wanted to add a new WMS layer. The result is the
following:
When I run the project in debug mode I got the concrete URL what
is the request. If I open it in browser I get the normal (good)
picture not the one above.
What I use:
-eclipse-rcp-europa-fall-win32.zip
-extras-3.3.0-win32.zip
-jre1.6.0_03.win32.zip
-udig-1.1-RC13-test-sdk.win32.win32.x86.zip
Please help me, because it makes me crazy. I try lot of things
before without any result.
