Re: [udig-devel] wendy's dxf plugin

Sweet- wendy started from the JUMP code as well.
Can you be sure to mark your plugin license as GPL? We don't want to get
in trouble.

Alright, I will stay in standby in the hope that someone will stand up
and shout :)
In the meanwhile, from Wendy's plugin I learned to create a datastore,
which I am very glad about. So I borrowed the code to read
Autocad DWG files from our brothers gvSig and Jump and here we go with
the first try:
http://www.jgrass.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/NewScreenhotPage/900_Dwg_with_labels%3F?action=show
Now there is support for dxf and dwg (version <= 2000), that makes me
feel comfortable... Udig (and JGrass) is amazing!!! A mixture of heaven
and deepest hell, today was heaven :)
Ciao,
Andrea

I don't think there is a maintainer any more. I think you can feel
free to take over (or if you don't want to commit to that) apply the
patch. But lets wait a couple days for someone to step up just in
case.

Alright, I got the dxf plugin up and working again, were really
just a few things, probably it would also be good to add a
projection support,
since the renderer not always displays when there is an unknown crs.
So what should I do now? Is the maintainer on this list yet? If
you are, could you drop me a note, perhaps I could send you a
patch. I think the dxf plugin is much too important to leave it
back :)
Cheers,

Hi, I'm trying out the community dxf plugin.
It finds the layers but for some reason doesn't render anything.
I had to solve some errors by compiling it against the latest sdk
available.
Before I dig without target, anyone ideas on where to start?
Is the plugin maintained? Of the 3 available, one is not used,
right?
Thanks,
Andrea
