       Type: Bug

   Priority: Minor

 Original Estimate: Unknown

    Project: uDIG
 Components:

   Assignee:
   Reporter: David O'Sullivan

    Updated: Wed, 19 Jan 2005 4:17 PM
Environment: Win XP, Java 1.5

Description:
Feature selection seems to be based on whether or not the selection rectangle and the feature bounding box intersect.

This is OK as a first-cut, but leads to confusing behavior for large features -- and means that it is hard to select small features on their own, if they are anywhere near larger ones.

This isn't really a 'bug' as such, but I think a lot of users accustomed to 'standard' GIS behaviours may see it as one!

Like the system by the way :)
