Hi folks,

I've just had the pleasure of opening the following PR: https://github.com/eclipse-theia/theia/pull/12090. It raises our default VS Code API level from 1.55.2 to 1.68.1. That's quite the leap!

I'm writing this mail to celebrate this achievement. We've come a long way since I opened this issue 1.5 years ago: https://github.com/eclipse-theia/theia/issues/9863. I'd like to take a moment to thank the people involved, but also the companies behind it that are willing to finance this work, even though they may not profit directly from every API implemented. We succeed together, but we fail alone!

The second purpose of this mail is to invite you to object to the change, if you feel we're still missing something.
