Re: [technology-pmc] Termination candidate: Eclipse Babel
|
Hello Technology PMC,
Hello EMO,
I have a question regarding Eclipse Babel termination: what is the
planned replacement for its localization functionality?
A lot of Eclipse-based products around the world consumes Babel
packages with translated resources for decades.
Termination without replacement may have notable negative impact on
Eclipse ecosystem.
Perhaps this termination plan should be announced more widely so that the Eclipse community has a chance to keep this project viable.
Regards,
AF

Dear PMC and project team,
Based on the project activity, last commit and
releases, the EMO has identified the following
project as a candidate for termination:
We would appreciate any additional information
you can provide about the project's status.
Otherwise we'll proceed to schedule a termination
review in the upcoming weeks.
Kind regards,
Carmen Delgado
