Re: [sumo-user] Taxi All Junctions Stops

The easiest fix is to remove sidewalks inside the roundabout. If you need those for connectivity of your pedestrian network, add additional pedestrian-only edges.
Alternatively, define lots of busStops and set the option to only allow transfers at those.
(We have plans to add a third method eventually: https://github.com/eclipse/sumo/issues/7246)

Hi sumo users,

I'm running a taxi service in a network featuring several roundabouts. The taxis are currently permitted to pick up and drop-off passengers at all junctions in the network. However, passengers transferring at junctions inside of a roundabout are causing severe, unrealistic congestion in the area (roundabout photo below).

I'm wondering if there is a way to omit certain junctions from the "all junctions" transfer locations to produce more realistic fleet behavior. Or, if there is a way to redraw roundabouts to contain fewer junctions, and thus less available transfer locations.

Thanks as always for the help,
