Re: [sumo-user] Sumo

Yes. This can be done by
- configuring vehicles to reflect the desired properties
- remote controlling some/all vehicles from another process
- implementing new dynamic models within the modular architecture of the simulation
Similar work was reported at this years SUMO User Conference (attached)

Hello there,

I am a Senior AI Researcher working on self-driving cars.

I would like to know if it is possible to use Sumo simulation environment to model both automated cars and normal cars mutual behaviours.

They should have different behaviour triggered by events and interact togethers.

Is it possible to do this?

Best,

Thomas Chaton
