Hi folks,
recently, I had another conversation with Yoshitaka, the founder of
SWTChart.
He's interested to join the Eclipse Foundation, but he has limited
resources at the moment. My opinion is, that we can't force people to
publish a proposal.
So I would recommend that we wait until he's ready to do the step. He
knows that I will support him to write the proposal and to do the
administrative work.
Anyhow, I will improve my SWTChart extensions and will stay in contact
with him. I'll keep you updated.
I've also recognized that SWT works fine under Windows and Linux, but Mac OS
X makes problems. Have you encountered the same problems?

Maybe, other Eclipse projects are affected by this problem too. I would
be happy to discuss this issue at the upcoming EclipseCon.
