Hello,

I'm still the only maintainer of the Python client, and while I haven't abandoned it, I indeed don't have enough time to do all maintenance needed by the project. Help is welcome, and having more that one committer would be valuable for the project.

If you are interested in becoming a commiter, a good start is helping with bugs and reviewing PRs. Do that for a bit and I can propose you as commiter. I'll try to be more responsive during the next weeks.

I think it's very important to keep it up to date, since python is one of the most widely used languages.

Let's see if someone from eclipse actually shows up.

From the commit history I can see the one taking care of this client was Pierre, is he still affiliated or active in other parts of eclipse?
