Those following the MQTT-proposed-at-OASIS thread may be interested in Symantec taking an interest today:

Whilst I am sure many of us agree that there are potential security concerns, is device-level control always appropriate for sensors? is MQTT appropriately secured for endpoint use cases? looks like a good opportunity to discuss.
