Follow up. The problem can be worked around by changing from error to warning the severity of build path problems.

[p2-dev] Pb with build I20081014 |
If you update to this week I build, you will not be able to compile the director project because it will look for the wrong jar file (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=250946).
For now I would wait before updating to this build since to be able to keep on working you would have to close the following projects: director, p2.tests*, sat4j*
