Re: [osbp-dev] Status of OSBP development

Hi Werner, thanks.
Do you know of any general business-purpose open source platform that’s comparable? I’m eyeing Apache OFBiz, which was stagnant for a while, but now seems to have some new life in last few years.
https://blogs.apache.org/ofbiz/

BTW, Wayne is aware — he directed me here (https://twitter.com/waynebeaton/status/1368334457346854918)

Thanks, best, Nick

Nick,

Thanks for asking, I guess it's a good question, I mainly follow the list because OSBP uses Eclipse UOMo as a downstream dependency, but the activity over the last 12 months looks very bad and normally at some point EMO or the Mentors might look into a committer transfer (similar to what just happened at BIRT) or initiate archiving a project if there is nobody who likes to continue the work.

You could ask either EMO or one of the mentors, see the project page https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.osbp/who

Cheers,

Werner

Hello OSBP dev folks, what is the status of OSBP? It would appear development has stalled, or is there activity happening elsewhere?

Thanks, best, Nick
