Just go ahead with creating the release record. It doesn't matter much who creates it. I created many of them, so it would be good for you to gain some experience with this as well :)

  Release date: 2020-11-08
  Name: 6.0.0
  Incorporate the Jakarta EE 9 components (moved to the jakarta namespace).

which I understand can be edited later as well.
