Re: [microprofile-wg] Question on Long Running Actions Spec and EFSP Creation Review

TL;DR go ahead and proceed to the Release Review for LRA

Our take is the creation/restructuring review that we did to convert the MicroProfile project into a specification project covered all then-current contents. That is, the Steering Committee (Specification Committee) voted on accepting the entire project including all ongoing specification work. So that review served as the creation review for any existing nascent specifications contained within the project.

Paul, we have a specification, Long Running Actions 1.0 (LRA), that has been in the works for a couple of years. It has already been debated and is ready for a vote. Question - this is the first “non-existing spec” that is ready for its inaugural 1.0 release. Would this require an EFSP Creation Review if it has already effectively gone through this process under our pre-MPWG processes?

Or,  can we proceed directly to a vote on the LRA 1.0 release?
