Re: [krazo-dev] Fwd: Release plan for 1.1.0

Hi Daniel,

I guess that transferring the spec to the EF will take some time. I'm currently working on creating the corresponding proposal.

The big question is how we want to sync the version of Krazo with the spec version. Currently, the plan is to work on Krazo 1.1.0 which will implement the JCP version of MVC 1.0. At least this is my understanding. Maybe others have different thoughts!?!

After migrating the spec to EE4J, we will have to decide how to name the next version. As all the other specs released new major versions because of the package change, my impression is that it would be best to do so as well. So MVC 2.0 would be the first version in the new jakarta.mvc namespace. And I guess it would make sense to release Krazo 2.0.0 which implement Jakarta MVC 2.0.

Sending this again as the mail doesn't appear in the krazo-dev mailinglist archive. I guess it was dropped for some reason. :-(

Hi all,

I just sent a mail to the EMO to ask for the Eclipse Krazo 1.0.0 release review.

But as we already started to work on some features which aren't part of 1.0.0, I just created a first version of the release plan for 1.1.0.

Please note that this is just a first version and the dates for the milestones are just preliminary.

Let me know what you think.

Christian
