My utmost respect to you, Markus. Thank you for choosing to step into the Marketing committee room! 

Your contributions to the Jakarta EE public forums enabling brainstorming, clarifications with AskMeAnything have brought value and have enabled others' awareness on diverse topics, technical and none technical. Your time, actions, and words mirror how beautiful and valuable you truly are to this ecosystem. 

At all times, especially when contributing side by side with people as awesome as you, who belong to diverse open-source ecosystems, I hold the below quote at my core.

Since several years I am an active participant of Jakarta EE (in particular, Jakarta REST), and I am a frequent author, YouTuber, and conference speaker. I am not afiliated with any member company but serve as a volunteer committer.

 

The driver behind my nomination is that I like to provide the view angle of the user community, so marketing can better cover the actual user interests.
