The Jakarta Security project & Jakarta REST project are both approved to update their TCK's in a Service Release as they have requested (see the background in the ballot for details).

Dear Jakarta EE Specification Committee,


The Specification Committee is composed of representatives of the Jakarta EE Working Group Member Companies (Fujitsu, IBM, Oracle, Payara, Tomitribe, Primeton, and Shandong Cvicse Middleware Co.), along with individuals who represent the EE4J PMC, Participant Members, and Committer Members.

Specification Committee representatives, your vote is hereby requested on the resolution documented below. Please respond with +1 (positive), 0 (abstain), or -1 (reject). Any feedback that you can provide to support your vote will be appreciated. This ballot will run for 7 days.

Background: Exception to update their TCK in service release requests have come in from Jakarta Security and Jakarta RESTful Web Services projects, both projects have requested the exception now, please follow the links below for further context:

Resolution: It is resolved that the Jakarta EE Specification Committee grants a Jakarta EE TCK Process exception to the Jakarta Security and Jakarta RESTful Web Services projects to update the tests in their TCK and deliver these changes as a service release.
