Betreff: Re: [iot-pmc] Request for release review of Eclipse Mita 0.1.0
You need to schedule a release review yourself. The Eclipse Project Handbook might help you [1], if not I suggest to contact your mentors.
What you need from the PMC is a +1 vote for the release.
I did a brief check of your release information and what I notices was you state on the one side
> All the while this is a preview version and far from a 1.0 release, pertaining to the upcoming type system overhaul, improvements to the event system and a way to configure a more detailed life cycle for components.
> The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality".
I am not sure how that works together. Maybe you could explain that a little bit.
What is definitely missing is the Incubation branding on your project homepage. As well as the link to the Eclipse Security page. [2]
I also don't really understand what a user could possible do with Mita. Clicking on the download link takes me to the GitHub repository. With no further explanation of how I can get started. IIRC Mita is something like an IDE, so I would
expect something inside of [3] that can be installed into the Eclipse IDE, or can be downloaded and run independently.
Hi,
We are planning our first release. Could you please schedule a release review of our release at
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/iot.mita/releases/0.1.0?
Thank you!
