Thanks Max, for so well capturing the reason Eclipse's usability is so hard to improve.
The beginner's "ease of use" gets in the way of the expert's "well known work-flow". :)

with the amount of buttons this would add to the UI by default I would
say No to it.

You do realise as soon as you move your mouse in the field the buttons
show up.

btw. I didn't know this feature existed either - but now I do I like it
but I wouldn't want my default hover to be ugly ;)
