I've filed two issues to have Eclipse GlassFish 6 listed on the EE 9 compatibility page. These are:

  1. Eclipse GlassFish 6 as Compatible Product of Jakarta EE 9.0
  2. Eclipse GlassFish 6.0 Web Profile as Compatible Product of Jakarta EE 9.0 Web Profile

Per the process requirement, I have e-mailed tck@xxxxxxxxxxx with the link to the accepted certification requests for the two versions:

  1. Compatibility certification request for Eclipse GlassFish 6.0 for Jakarta EE Platform, 9.0
  2. Compatibility certification request for Eclipse GlassFish 6.0 for Jakarta EE 9, Web Profile

The PR to update the download page (and fill in the compatibility details) is awaiting release of 6.0 and it needs a review. I've marked it Draft. If that prevents a review, I can undo that, but I don't think it makes sense to push it until 6.0 is ready.

Once 6.0 is ready, I will add it to the EE4J project download page as well.

I think that's what I can do, for now.

Some of this, I can do ahead of the actual final release (the download page, etc.). If we just direct folks to the GlassFish download page, we can get the compatible listing up, anytime since RC2 is listed there and it's compatible.

Probably we want to do this as soon as we have 6.0 Final. But, the team can do this earlier, if they want. For anyone following -- here are the request issues for the v5.1 listing:

Might be worth having the GH release tag, the ee4j download, and the GlassFish web-site updates done about the same time. I'm happy to help with any of this, if that's useful.
