I could write some instructions, sort of a step-by-step
guide to do the migration. Should be possible to get done
during this week since it is such a small application.
I think either would suffice. We could start with
how to upgrade your Jakarta EE 8 applications to
Jakarta EE 9, if we had it. There might be other
things specific to GlassFish, but I don't think
that there was any other intended functional
change in GlassFish.

Do you mean an upgrade guide for
GlassFish, or a guide for upgrading from Jakarta
EE 8 to Jakarta EE 9?
By the way, do we have anything close to
an upgrade guide for users of Jakarta EE?
Maybe a blog or something we can refer
users to?

Some of this, I can do ahead of the
actual final release (the download page,
etc.). If we just direct folks to the
GlassFish download page, we can get the
compatible listing up, anytime since RC2
is listed there and it's compatible.
So -- I'll start those later today.

Hi Ed,
I’m happy
for you to do the updates 😊
I will never turn down an offer to

I think we
will have to make a call on going
to final with non-final
implementations or waiting until
after Livestream.
Probably we want to do this as soon
as we have 6.0 Final. But, the team
can do this earlier, if they want.
For anyone following -- here are the
request issues for the v5.1 listing:
Might be worth
having the GH release tag, the
ee4j download, and the GlassFish
web-site updates done about the
same time. I'm happy to help with
any of this, if that's useful.
