My apologies, I should have provided more explanation.   As others have said, this was online feedback thru the web site.   We did not get a lot of feedback but some of the sessions did get some.

As with any stats, you should only use it as one source of data.  :-)

Yes now that I have looked through it more, I'm not sure how much we can read into the numbers. For example I know the CDT tutorial is always popular, and at EclipseCon 2011 it had 40 votes, but at ECE there was only one vote. I think I'll only take into account the first 25 or so that have roughly 10 or more votes, because with that many votes you can start to see the trend. For example the talk with 10 votes and an average rating of 1.3 was clearly not a winner, but the talk with 17 votes and an average of 4.7 was clearly popular.
