Dear PMC,
In the near future, I am going to reduce my involvement in the Eclipse
project quite a bit. I am going to remain involved to the extent I can
provide leadership in JDT, but I would rather pass the PMC lead flag to
someone else on the PMC who has more focus.
The new PMC lead will officially be nominated by the Eclipse Foundation
EMO (Mike M.) and ratified by the Eclipse board (bylaws, Article VII,
Section 7.1).
Now, we need to provide a recommendation for a PMC lead to Mike M.
I would like to suggest the name of Mike Wilson as the next PMC lead. I
have worked closely with Mike in the past few years, and he has been
involved in most leadership discussion already. To me, he is the
obvious choice.
Please comment, argue or even suggest other names...
