[eclipse-dev] eclipse start-up time

Hi,
I'm not sure this is the right mailing list, so apologize if it is not. I'm 
using eclipse 3.0 over suse linux 8.2, and it takes a lot to start (i mean 
other than a minute). The cpu works a lot (the disk no) and the splash screen 
stays on. When the environment is started all works fine.
Any idea?
