[eclipse-dev] Feature or bug?

Hi,
I post this here since I'm not sure if I shuold report a bug or not.
I have an update site project, which uses a feature project and plugins
all built with eclipse wizards.
The update site projects works fine when loading it from local filesystem,
but when it is loaded from an http url no classes can be found and the
plugin gives strange errors.

The url in the site.xml is correct.

Is this a possible bug or my ignorance?

Is it correct or not that the update site will work from local filesys and
not http?
