RE: [eclipse-dev] Problem with RC0

I have a patch for this but it seems nobody wants to apply it. It is attatched to my bug report:
http://dev.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=28454
The feature you want to switch off is smart pasting.

I downloaded the 2.1 M5 version Friday and notice that every time that you copy and paste a block of code the indentation is messed up.  Has any one else noticed the same behaviour.

Yeah, it seems to use the Displayed Tab Width from the Java/Editor preferences rather than the "Number of spaces representing indentation level" from the Java/Code Formatter preferences. I keep meaning to file a bug on this, but I can't remember the name of the feature that causes the pasted code to be indented and haven't spent enough time in the bug tracking software to know my way around.
