I appreciate the effort that has gone into discussing these matters.
Fujitsu will select the second voting course.
However, before we can formally cast our vote, we kindly request further clarification on several points.
First, please explicitly state the exact resolution(s) for the vote.
Second, while we understand the multi-currency challenges, the rationale for changes, especially concerning "operational costs," lacks concrete data. Is there anything we can
refer to?
Finally, we should vote only after discussing how the budget affects WG activities and, if it does, whether to increase income or reduce expenses.

As agreed during our last Steering Committee (SC) meeting, and based on feedback received from Enterprise members, we want to ensure that all Working Group (WG) members have an opportunity to review the proposal on the
Working Group Charter Update, even though only SC members are eligible to cast a formal vote.
I am forwarding the original email to the general WG mailing list.
Please take a moment to review the proposal (below) to convert participation fees from USD to EUR. Should you have any questions or require clarification, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Dear Adoptium SC Members,
Following up on our Steering Committee meeting on November 13th, the vote on the Working Group Charter Update did not achieve the required supermajority.
The
proposal
is to convert the membership fees from USD to EUR. This conversion maintains the nominal fee value, which at the current exchange rate represents approximately a
15%
increase. This adjustment is necessary as membership fees have remained unchanged since the Working Group's creation, despite rising operational costs.
An additional consideration, given the late date in the year and in response to members feedback, it is hard for members to even discuss this change
with their management and it is becoming hard to manage this change for the Eclipse Foundation as well. The fee update is scheduled to take effect for new members starting in 2026 and
for existing members starting in 2027.

Proceed with the electronic voting process, as agreed on the previous SC call. If this option
is selected, please ensure your vote is submitted within the next 7 business days (+1, -1 or 0). This option will be open to all voting members: Strategic members (Azul, Rivos, Google, IBM, Alibaba, Microsoft) and the Enterprise/Participant members representative
(Fujitsu, iJUG).
