Re: [xsd-dev] Xerces 2.11.0

No problem!

By XSD it's referring to the XSD model specifically (and it supports only XML Schema 1.0 not 1.1) The Web Tools project provides an XML Schema editor based on the XSD model. In both cases, you should use the corresponding newsgroup for questions. The Orbit project hosts external libraries reused by Eclipse projects so you might try their newsgroup to see if they have support for Xerces 2.11.

Hi Ed,

as stated in xds-dev description "XSD discussion list. Come here to
participate in technical discussions related to the XSD, ..." I hoped that
this is the right place to ask my question. I'm sorry, if it's not.

I'll try my luck in forum/newsgroups.

This question isn't about developing with org.eclipse.xsd so best you ask
it on one of the newsgroups. I'm not sure there is a 2.11 version of
Xerces in Orbit...

I want to create an XSD 1.1 as I need some new features as
maxOccurs="unbounded" in<all> and others. So I need to use Xerces 2.11.0
which support XSD 1.1.

But in my .eclipse/793567567/plugins there is

How can I update to Xerces 2.11.0?

I tried to put xercesImpl.jar from
Xerces-J-bin.2.11.0-xml-schema-1.1-beta.tar.gz which I downloaded from
Apache, but it didn't work, it gave errors.

I tried OxygenXML Eclipse plugin but it uses Xerces 2.9.0 too.

My configuration:
Fedora 15

I can send Eclipse config if needed.
