I haven't been the Lead for a little over two and a half years now. Both branches *are* open, though some of the version numbers may not have been updated for Mars and Mars.1 since not everything had a change. I’ve been looking into correcting those and tightening up the lower bounds of required plug-ins where internals are referenced, but don’t be shy about getting to them before me.
As for the merging, Alina has been working on it and ran into some build-related issues that we’re still sorting out. Have you been able to get a clean build when the histories and working directories are merged in a local clone? Either way, please don’t push those kinds of changes just yet.
