Hi everyone, as a follow-up to Nitin's
post earlier today - This announcement is intended for adopter's and dependent
developers of JSDT Debug feature.
Please let us know if anyone is concerned
with this enhancement being backported into the 3.2.5 release.
>> This is a reminder/announcement
that bug 353225 has been put up for PMC review due to its API additions
and new plug-in, which may affect adopters.
>> This bug encapsulates a backporting of the "Crossfire"
code changes we've made in 3.4 back into the 3.2.5 release at the behest
of an adopter, cleaning up complications with launching a debug session
and allowing JSDT Debug to work with real web browsers, in addition >>
to the existing Rhino support. The PMC approval is requested due
to the API additions (on Interfaces marked from the initial revision in
CVS as @noextend and incrementing org.eclipse.wst.jsdt.debug.core from
1.0.4 to 1.1.0) and introduction of the new implementing bundle >>
into the build.
Thanks - Chuck
