No need to back it out. However, at this point of the process we need to minimize code changes so we can ship M4.

I understand, however, I believe this to be a mainstream enough scenario to warrant what is an extremely low risk and isolated fix - A major bug vs. critical that I was willing to take on the basis of its simplicity. If you would prefer we back out the change, say the word, and I'll do so.

No one should be releasing any fixes unless they resolve known critical or blocking defects, Our immediate task is to release M4.

Hi,

We've released the following Web services fix to be picked up by the next respin of the M4 candidate build (if there's going to be one).  Even though this defect does not warrant a respin by itself, we thought it would improve the quality of the m4 driver if we can fix this problem of not being able to launch the Web Services Explorer from the Web service wizard.
