So I just gave a quick try to a Windows build and it is not so easy… I think you will have to use Cygwin.   Regards, David Navarro

   Hi and welcome,   1)
there is no Windows specific build provided, sorry. But wakaama uses CMake which also exists for Windows (see
http://www.cmake.org/runningcmake/). As wakaama is POSIX-compliant, it should build easily on Windows. 2)
Wakaama test client is indeed a standalone C-client. You can connect it either to the wakaama test server or to Leshan. Just provide the correct URL
to the client command line or by editing tests/client/lwm2mclient.c main() function. The Eclipse Foundation provides a Leshan sandbox server at
http://leshan.eclipse.org/.   Regards, David Navarro   From:

Hi All, Greetings !!!

I am new to the group , and very sorry to ask some  BASIC  questions.
         1)   How to set up a build environment in Windows for Wakkama Project.
         2)   I understand Wakkama  is a stand alone C-Client that can connect to a Leshan server. I hope my understanding iscorrectt. Then, whether Leshan exposes any Sandbox server to test Wakaama client?

Hi all,   testing Pascal “DI Bootstrap” Feature I found, that   “typedef void * (*lwm2m_connect_server_callback_t)(uint16_t serverID, void * userData);”   may be a problem for multiple bootstrap server, because they possibly all have the serverID 0. Therefore I would like to replace that callback with   “typedef void * (*lwm2m_connect_server_callback_t)(uint16_t secObjInstID, void * userData);”   (replace “serverID” with “secObjInstID”, the security object instance ID).   So, any pros and cons for that approach?   Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards   Achim Kraus   Bosch Software Innovations GmbH Communications (INST/ESY4) Stuttgarter Straße 130 71332 Waiblingen GERMANY www.bosch-si.de www.blog.bosch-si.com
