Minutes

The call began with an overview of the
week's progress on raising awareness of the Voice Tools Project,
notably the development of an article
featured on www.voicexmlreview.org and the continued progress on a
presentation at SpeechTEK. 

The callers were asked to give their
insight into how they are looking to contribute and what they are
looking to be able to take advantage
of from the project.

One participant stated an interest in
the Voice Tools Project's Simulator, Design Editor, and Code Editor
planned functionality. Another stated
an interest in donating a contribution of functionality in the
early fall timeframe. Another participant
cited an interest as a company in focusing on high-level design
and was interested in following the
Voice Tools Project's XML editors to consider creating a tool set
from them.

The call ended with a brief discussion
of possible extension points to interoperate between an open
voice tools platform and any third party
commercial plugins that interacted with it.
