Hi Todd, we make almost only useof floating point rasters, since we do
dtm analyses.
So, yes, the thing is supported. It is just that the bil format is not
supported.
So you could transform it in a tiff, that would work.
The latest uDig supports also the GRASS raster format, which can be
derived from any other format through the grass gdal import mechanics.
Only drawback is that you have to know how to create a grass location
and mapset.
