Dear Location uDig Dev and Users,

We are reaching out to inform you that, based on a PMC discussion about the status of locationtech projects, it came to our attention that this project is a good candidate for Termination.

Last week, we started the progress review https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/emo-team/emo/-/work_items/1301; our idea is to convert this progress review into a terminatin review.

Any additional information you are able to provide regarding the status of the project would be highly appreciated.

Otherwise, we'll proceed with the termination review in the upcoming weeks.
