Re: [udig-devel] uDig Development

Hi Paul,
Well I have experience in dealing with image processing in the geospatial realm, so I'll count that as an interest. Not sure what sort of raster data uDig will support in the end, did a little document searching but nothing extensive. Anything that you guys can think of that's off the critical path, just let me know. May end up that I don't have a choice in the matter at all. <G>

Hi Matt,
How you can help depends on where your development interests lie. The process is open, the mailing list is open, the SVN server is actually the same SVN server as geotools. udig.refractions.net for background. The key is, since development is moving very fast, with a fulltime team of four, picking a development area that is off of the critical path but still useful!
What are your development interests?
Paul

Are you guys allowing for open development with uDig? I'd like to help out in some of my free time, but unsure of where to start.
