Re: [tsf-dev] TSF process feedback - part 2

The high-level question is: Who is TSF's customer?
As I mentioned in my previous reply, TSF is an open source offering (so
no paying customers), but the hope is that we establish a de-facto way
of representing assurance cases for complex software vs a range of
criteria/standards.
Beneficiaries of this will ideally include:
- engineers/product teams (e.g. demonstrate "best-practices" without
need to absorb N proprietary standards)
- safety assessors (e.g. reduce time spent locating and normalising
work-products)
- security assessors
- quality assessors
- marketing (only if we gain more traction)
FWIW Codethink has had some success applying TSF in practice - for
example we've had successful independent/customer assessments of project
work framed in TSF vs ASPICE, ISO PAS 8926 and IEC 61508, and as you
know TSF itself has been assessed by exida.
