I was finally able to create an incubator build that works with the Trace Compass 7.0.0 release. I tested the installation and I'm able to install all the scripting features and it's now possible to run EASE scripts again. The problem in Trace Compass 6.3.0
due to the platform bug is resolved in this release.
Using the Trace Compass 7.0.0 RCP [1] and installing EASE from the Add-ons menu it should work. However, there is an update site problem of the incubator baseline for that release which I'm trying to fix as I write this email.
If you are using the Incubator RCP, then yes, it still will still fail because the incubator RCP still uses the previous Eclipse platform (4.19) which has that bug. The incubator baseline still needs to be upgraded to the latest Eclipse platform (4.20) that
goes with Trace Compass mainline 7.0.0.
I am not able to install Jython on Trace Compass 6.3. I talked to Genevieve about this issue yesterday, and it seems there was a problem with EASE in the last release of Trace Compass and also some of the ease repos have recently changed. This problem
still exists in version 7. Do you suggest a quick solution?
