Re: [tracecompass-dev] Jython on Trace Compass
|
Good news! I made it work with stable-7.0 with this [1] in Trace
Compass and this [2] in incubator.
So once the patches are in and builds work everywhere, you could
download the stable version again and it should work (I think?)

There
seems to be some issue with the ease support in master
branch as well. Some more investigation needed.

Hi
Iman
Using
the Trace Compass 7.0.0 RCP [1] and installing EASE from
the Add-ons menu it should work. However, there is an
update site problem of the incubator baseline for that
release which I'm trying to fix as I write this email.
If
you are using the Incubator RCP, then yes, it still will
still fail because the incubator RCP still uses the
previous Eclipse platform (4.19) which has that bug. The
incubator baseline still needs to be upgraded to the
latest Eclipse platform (4.20) that goes with Trace
Compass mainline 7.0.0.

Hi,
I am not able to install Jython on Trace Compass
6.3. I talked to Genevieve about this issue
yesterday, and it seems there was a problem with
EASE in the last release of Trace Compass and also
some of the ease repos have recently changed. This
problem still exists in version 7. Do you suggest a
quick solution?
Best,
Iman
