Hi all,

This email passed in the ease-dev mailing list. It will not be supporting the 2021-03 release of Eclipse.

Since Trace Compass 6.3 is built upon it, I think that means the scripting feature will have to be disabled from the incubator for this release? Unless someone has a an idea for fixing the build.

If so, users who depend on the scripting feature of the incubator should not upgrade their version of Trace Compass until the next release.

With 2021-03 came a nasty bug regarding buddy-classloading [1]. As we
need this special way of classloading to resolve pretty much everything
from our script engines, we cannot support this target.

EASE will therefore stay on 2020-12 and move on to 2021-06 once it is
available.
