Why not use GitLab to do it? Like I said, it's pretty easy, and you don't have to worry about it.

I'm the one manually doing the mirroring when I think about it, since the original maintainer of the mirror left the project. I had planned to do a cron for it, but it went down my priority list. It's better if it does not depend on a single individual.

AFAIK the mirroring is done by the Eclipse Foundation webmasters. CDT's mirror[1] is up to date. I recommend simply submitting a bug to Community and request that the mirroring settings is checked https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Community&component=Git

There are GitHub mirrors [1] of Trace Compass and the Trace Compass Incubator. Not sure how they're managed (or by whom), but from what I've seen, they're updated every once in a while. And the Incubator mirror hasn't been updated in 2 years.

This is a simple proposal to set up something that can periodically push from the official repositories and push to the GitHub mirrors. GitLab can do that [2]. I set one up [3] for my fork on GitHub [4] and it was quick and easy.

Some people might find out about Trace Compass by finding its mirror on GitHub, and keeping it up to date can only be positive!
