[tracecompass-dev] Building TraceCompass RCP (without Maven)

hello,
i'm attempting to build the stand-alone executable version of TraceCompass.
My first question is: how to do this in Eclipse? I tried to build/run
org.eclipse.tracecompass.rcp.ui and got something that looked ... sort of
right, maybe? :) Still, can't find the binary. Is this the correct way? Do i
need to build something else?
Second question: i'll be automating the build, and I can't really use maven
(bla bla offline builds artifact repositories etc etc). In the old version of
LTTNG viewer it was possible to build it through PDE. Does this still work? Is
it possible to build the RCP version this way as well?
If not, I hope to use Eclipse to generate a build.xml for the right thing and
use ant to build it. Would that work? Is there another way?
